itstheBino Interview with Chuuwee
Sacramento is relatively unknown to most hip-hop fans. Chuuwee is trying to change that sentiment. I first heard Chuuwee spit when I downloaded his tape with Lee Bannon, Hot N Ready. Been a huge fan ever since. I say this in all sincerity: he’s one of the most talented MC’s out right now. He’s been putting out above average material for a minute now and still seems to be flying under the radar. He signed to Amalgam last year and has been churning out music at a record pace ever since. I met up with him down at SXSW in March and was pleased to find out that he is one of the most level headed, down to earth artists I’ve ever come across. His head is in the right place and his attitude is right where it needs to be in order to get to the next level. I was always a fan of Chuuwee’s music but now I am, and always will be, a fan of Chuuwee as a person.
